Biology is an introductory course. Students cultivate their understanding of biology through inquiry-based investigations as they explore the following topics: evolution, cellular processes, energy and communication, genetics, information transfer, ecology, and interactions. Students will come ready to listen, engage, and learn every day! Labs are an important part of science and will occur frequently!
Classroom Expectations:
- Check google classroom daily! Announcements and reminders are posted frequently!
- Arrive on time and ready to begin.
- Pick up any handouts and/or supplies from the counter as you quietly enter the classroom.
- Sit in your assigned seat.
- Phones are to be turned off and in backpacks.
- Turn in any due assignments when you walk in. If you are working on it when the bell rings, it is late!
- Participate in lectures and class activities.
- Follow all classroom rules and procedures as well as those outlined in the Champion High School Student Handbook.
- Work until class is dismissed.
- Respect the teacher, your classmates, the classroom, and any visitors.
