Mrs. Stacie Murrah

Mrs. Stacie Murrah currently teaches Practicum Education & Training, Child Development, and Principles of Human Services. She is a sponsor for Teacher Association of Future Educators and Co-Advisor for FCLLA. Mrs. Murrah received a BA in English from Abilene Christian University.  For the past 25 years, Stacie Murrah has enjoyed creating a safe, loving environment for young people to learn and grow.  The first six years of her public education service was dedicated to teaching English and coaching. She actively led FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and was the first middle school tennis coach at Boerne ISD.  In 1999 she took a public school sabbatical to devote eight years to raising two young daughters. When her youngest daughter was old enough to attend pre-k, she returned to the classroom at Boerne ISD.  Mrs. Murrah taught at Boerne Middle School North for 13 years.  In 2016, Mrs. Murrah received Teacher of the Year. Her teaching assignments at BMSN included  7th & 8th Grade English, 7th grade Reading, and 7th grade Texas History.  When a position to teach College and Career opened at Voss Middle School in 2019, Mrs. Murrah took this opportunity to teach a different subject and influence teens to become Future Ready. Mrs. Murrah was awarded Teacher of the Year at Voss Middle School for the 2023 school year. In Mrs. Murrah's free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She also enjoys reading and relaxing in nature.

Please note, assignments will be posted in Google Classroom and grades will be posted in Skyward. Mrs. Murrah is available to tutor on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays before and after school. Please schedule a time to meet with her.
