• Coach Gold joins Champion with 22 years of soccer head coaching experience and a playing background that includes a decorated high school and college career. He was the Head Women's Coach at Canyon High School from 2002-2022, while amassing over 320 wins, 3 Regional Finalists, 7 District Championships and 18 years of Playoff Appearances. While at Canyon, Coach Gold also coached for the Classic Elite and Lions Club teams, leading numerous ages of both boys and girls teams to success. From 2016-2022, Coach Gold also served as the Texas Lutheran University Assistant Women's Soccer Coach. While there, TLU appeared in the Conference Tournament every year, finishing no lower than 3rd in the Conference. Coach Gold has served as the Clark Head Men's Soccer Coach the last two seasons, helping reestablish a traditional soccer power in the San Antonio area. Coach Gold and his family moved from New Braunfels to the Spring Branch area two years ago and are extremely excited about joining the Charger Nation!
