Mrs. Ashton Kidd

Coach Kidd grew up in Helotes and has been dancing for over 30 years. She started dance studio training at the age of 2 1/2. She has attended many dance conventions, such as The Pulse, Tremaine, and TDEA. She is a graduate of O'Connor High School where she was Captain of the Golduster Dance Team. She attended Texas State University - San Marcos and received a BFA in Dance Education. She was a 4-year member of the World Renowned Texas State University Strutters and served as Senior Captain. She has performed in Spain, on a Royal Caribbean Cruise and in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She has been on staff with ShowMakers of America Inc for 15 years. 

Coach Kidd loves spending time with her family. She enjoys traveling, car karaoke, and exploring new places to eat. 

This will be Coach Kidd's 12th year of teaching and 4th year at CHS! She is excited to be back at Champion and to get to know the students and community! She will be teaching Fine Arts Dance as well as Charms Varsity & JV Dance Teams.

    All students are required to perform in the Charms Spring Show to receive their course credit. The spring show will be April 4th at 6:00 pm. Please make sure to add it to your schedule and plan to attend this wonderful event!
