Mr. Hunter Granstaff

Work Experience:

This is Hunter Granstaff's 10th year of teaching. He has worked for Boerne High School for all 10 years. He has taught a myriad of subjects, including AP Macroeconomics, Dual Credit Accounting, Financial Mathematics, Accounting 1 & 2, Money Matters, Principles of Business, Marketing, and Finance, Personal Financial Literacy, Algebra 1, and Geometry, and AP Government.  Prior to teaching, Mr. Granstaff worked for E&Y and then Parr & Associates as a Certified Public Accountant specializing in corporate and international taxation. Prior to that, Mr. Granstaff helped start a fly-fishing company called Wet A Hook Technologies that created a product for tying flies.

 Education:

Mr. Granstaff graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Master's in Professional Accounting. He is also a 2003 graduate of Boerne High School.

Interests:

Mr. Granstaff is an avid (potentially obsessed) fly-fisherman and outdoorsman. He also enjoys sports, especially basketball and Texas Longhorn football, and has a passion for reading and teaching financial literacy.

Family:

Mr. Granstaff has an amazing wife of 14 years and 3 mostly wonderful children.
