Mrs. Erika Hill

Hello!

My name is Erika Hill, and I am starting my first year here at Boerne High School. This will be
my 11th year as a secondary English teacher. I grew up in
Pasadena, TX, and I have spent all my professional career,
teaching in the Houston area.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Master's
degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University.

Although I went to high school with my husband, we didn’t
formally meet until our freshman year of college. We have been
married for 8 years, and we have a 3 year old son, Emery, and a
little boy on the way. My family began our move to the Boerne
area in November of last year, when my husband started his job
working for the city. My son and I finished out the school year in
Houston and followed him in May. We are so excited to finally be
out of Houston, as it has been our dream to live in the hill country
since we got married.

I currently teach English I On-level and Honors. Freshman English is where my heart is, and I am so excited to be back with Freshman at Boerne High School :).
