Mr. Kimble McHone

Coach Kimble McHone is starting his 34th year in the teaching and coaching profession. He has spent the last 19 years at Boerne High School, where he is currently works with kids in the Odysseyware program.. Coach McHone is the head boys basketball coach, and assists with football. Coach McHone graduated from Texas A&M University in 1990 with a degree in Kinesiology. Before coming to Boerne, Coach McHone was the head basketball coach at Uvalde High School and Snook High School. Coach McHone loves teaching and coaching in Boerne ISD due to the wonderful students and parental support. Coach McHone is married to Kari, a second grade teacher at Curington Elementary. Kimble and Kari have two children, Griffin, who is the director of player development for the University of South Florida mens basketball team, and Ellie, who is a kindergarten teacher at Fabra Elementary School. In his spare time, Coach McHone enjoys playing golf, watching college football and basketball and grilling.
