Dr. Vanessa C. Smith Ed.D., LAT

Dr. Smith is excited about beginning her 6th year at Boerne High School! She will be teaching Health Science Clinical Practicum and Health Science Theory. Dr. Smith graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Hardin-Simmons University in 2007.  She has a master’s degree in Sports Administration from Concordia University in 2016.  She then earned her doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University in April of 2021!  Dr. Smith has been a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Texas since 2007.  She has been in education for over 15 years.  Dr. Smith began teaching because she loves educating students on the importance of their health and well-being and being an advocate for their own healthcare. 1st/2nd period (Block): Health Science Clinical Practicum

3rd period: Health Science Theory

4th period: Conference

B DAY:

5th period: Conference

6th period: Health Science Theory

7th/8th period (Block): Health Science Clinical Practicum

 **During 1st/2nd & 7th/8th periods, Dr. Smith is off campus during this time to visit clinical sites**

Morning: 8-8:30am (Except Tuesday's)
