Mrs. Kelly Summers

Mrs. Summers teaches AP Human Geography (HUG), AP Government & Politics & AVID level 1 & 2.  She has been educating students since 2011 and absolutely LOVES what she does!  She graduated from the University of Houston with a major in History and a minor in English. She earned her master's degree in Teacher Leadership in 2020.  She and her husband, of 32 years, have raised two wonderful, now married, children.  Their Son, Ty, lives in Houston with his wife and two boys.  Their daughter, Faith, lives in San Antonio with her husband and son. Besides family & teaching, her passions include old movies, reading historical novels, traveling to historical sites, organizing, and studying nutrition.
