Mrs. Tanessa Sawyer

This will be Mrs. Sawyer's seventh year in Boerne ISD.  She will be teaching Principles of Ag, Wildlife, Dual Credit Advanced Animal Science (through Tarleton Today) and Livestock Management. 

Mrs. Sawyer has a diverse background in education, including teaching Geometry/PreAP Geometry and Project Lead the Way Engineering Classes at her prior schools, as well as being a Head volleyball coach for 15 years. She feels called to teach and LOVES what she does!

She has a degree in Agricultural Leadership Development from Texas A&M University and has been very involved with FFA in the past, including being the State FFA President in 1996-97 and working for National FFA doing Made For Excellence conferences throughout college.  She was raised on registered Brangus ranches across the state and has a love for all agriculture!  

She lives in Bergheim with her husband, Brett (who also teaches and coaches at BHS) and her 4 daughters, Kinsley (17), Keira (15), Kamdyn (12), and Khloe(7).  She loves spending time with her family, working on her family's land, working out and reading!
