Matthew Myers is the principal of Boerne Middle School South. Before being named principal of BMSS in 2023, he served as principal at Curington Elementary School for four years.
Mr. Myers holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. He began his educational career at Corpus Christi ISD as an elementary school teacher at Schanen Estates Elementary School. Mr. Myers moved to Boerne in 2008 to became a teacher at Kendall Elementary and was awarded Teacher of the Year at KES in 2010. After serving as a teacher at KES, Mr. Myers transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal at KES and then to BMSS as an Assistant Principal when 6th graders in BISD were moved from the elementary to the middle school in 2015. In July 2019, Mr. Myers was introduced as the new principal at Curington Elementary and served in that capacity prior to coming back to BMSS as the current principal.
Building relationships, serving the community, and helping students are important to his leadership role. As a parent of BISD students, an employee of BISD, and a community member, Mr. Myers hopes to inspire students to become the best version of themselves.
Mr. Myers lives in the Boerne community with his wife, Audrey, and his four children (Owen, Hank, Jude, and Caroline) who attend school in BISD. Outside of school he enjoys college football, running, hiking, spending time with his family, and Texas country music.

Mr. Jason Miller is starting his 24th year in education. He earned his BBA from Texas A&M and his M. Ed. from Texas State University. Mr. Miller taught at the elementary level for seven years in North East ISD before coming to Boerne ISD where he has served as an assistant principal at all three levels of school. His favorite part of his job was teaching students and working alongside them towards success. Whether that success is graduation, passing a geometry test, or reducing the number of trips to the office for referrals, he enjoys the process. Mr. Miller has been married to Heather Miller for 22 years and they have two children, Elisabeth (20) and Thomas (15). Mr. Miller enjoys spending time with family, running, hunting, and writing.Elementary. -

Stephanie Coronado is an Assistant Principal of Boerne Middle School South. Before coming to BMSS this year, she was a Principal at New Caney ISD. She was a Principal, Assistant Principal, and District Director at Humble ISD. Ms. Coronado has been in education for 27 years.Ms. Coronado holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston Clear Lake and a Masters in Educational Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. Ms. Coronado attended Rice University in the REEP (Rice Educational Entrepreneurship Program. She began her educational career at Pasadena ISD as an elementary school teacher at Moore Elementary School. Ms. Coronado taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. Ms. Coronado is currently serving as the State Vice President for TEPSA. She has been a school administrator for 18 years.Ms. Coronado moved to the area this summer and is excited to be part of the Boerne family. Building relationships, serving the community, and helping students are important to her. Ms. Coronado lives by the motto of being better today than yesterday.Ms. Coronado has two sons, Justin (21) and Ryan (18). Outside of school, she enjoys watching sports, playing with her dog (Duncan), spending time with her family, and shopping. -

Under the requirements of Senate Bill 107, 84th legislature, TEC 37.0012, each campus must have a staff member designated as the Campus Behavior Coordinator. As a District of Innovation, BISD has opted to designate each administrator as a campus behavior coordinator.
