Ms. Shelene Connolly

Shelene Connolly teaches 6th grade Student Leadership and 7th grade Family Consumer Science. Ms. Connolly is in her 20th year of teaching and her first year with BISD. Ms. Connolly began her career in education in North Texas. After living in Dallas for 14 years, she moved back to San Antonio with her son to be closer to family.

Ms. Connolly graduated from St. Mary's University with a degree in English and received her teacher certification. 

When not in the classroom, Ms. Connolly enjoys trail running at various parks. One of her favorite places to explore is Guadalupe River State Park. She also enjoys taking her son to different places where they can see and learn more about animals.
