Mrs. Marguerite Surley

Marguerite Surley has been working at Boerne Middle School South since the 2015-2016 school year. Mrs. Surley teaches Algebra Honors and Pre-Algebra. She also serves as the mathematics department chair. Mrs. Surley has been an educator for 14 years. Previous to working in Boerne I.S.D she worked in Northeast I.S.D in San Antonio from 2010-2015. While she worked for NEISD she recieved the Campus Teacher of the Year award for the 2014-2015 school year. Mrs. Surley holds her mathematics certification in grades 4-12.

Mrs. Surley graduated from Texas State University in 2009 with her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in Mathematics grades 4-8. After teaching for several years, she continued her education, receiving her Masters in Mathematics Curriculum Instruction. During her free time she loves to be outside enjoying the beautiful weather or playing pickleball. She loves to travel and, most importantly, spending time with her family.
