Mrs. Carla Bowles

Mrs. Bowles was born and raised in Tampico, Mexico.  She went to college and graduated with a degree in Communications and Public Relations from TEC de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey.  Mrs. Bowles is married and has two daughters and a son:  Ana, Ceci and Pedro.  Ana graduated from Champion High School in the summer of 2022 and is attending DePaul University in Chicago. Ceci is a junior at Champion and Pedro a 7th grader at Voss.  She and her family moved to Boerne in 2010.  Mrs. Bowles started working at BMSS in 2015 assisting all the English Language Learners on campus.  In 2019 she transitioned to a teaching position in the LOTE department.  She has taught Spanish I, Spanish I Honors and Discovering Languages and Cultures, and previously served as the Jr. Charms Director from 2020-2023.  Mrs. Bowles is currently teaching Spanish I Honors and Yearbook for 8th grade.  

Her hobbies and interests are going to the movies, watching series in Spanish, and spending time with her family.
