Mrs. Danielle MacNeil

Dani MacNeil is a 6th grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher. She is beginning her 19th year as an educator and her 6th year at Boerne Middle School South. This will be her first year as a general education teacher, after having taught Special Education for 18 years, and it is her passion to help students reach their fullest potential. Mrs. MacNeil graduated from U.T.S.A with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary studies. 

She is a book lover, avid writer and obsessed with both. She tries to encourage students to find their own love of reading and writing through helping them find their own words to put into print and books of interest to them. 

When away from the classroom, Mrs. MacNeil can be found in the stands at a football game or pacing the soccer fields, cheering for her sons'  teams, spending time with her husband, journaling, taking photos, trying dishes, baking or building Legos. The MacNeils love to travel, watch the Philadelphia Eagles, play with their animals and eat home-cooked meals.
