Born in San Antonio, Kacey moved around south and central Texas in her younger years and graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Communications. After a brief stint as a news reporter/anchor, she found her calling in education and spent more than fifteen years teaching secondary ELA. Three years ago, she transitioned into the role of instructional coach, and she couldn't be happier. She is coming to Boerne from just outside the Houston area, and she is thrilled to be near family again. When she's not working, Kacey loves to be outdoors or relax at home with her pack of rescue pets. She can't wait to dive into the Boerne High School culture and make a difference in the lives of students!
