Mr. Robert Gonzalez

Mr. Gonzalez has performed in, directed, and taught theatre in the San Antonio, Boerne, and New Braunfels area for over ten years. He was recently nominated as Best Lead Actor in a Comedy and was also awarded Rookie Teacher of the Year for Voss MS last year. He worked at SeaWorld for just shy of 20 years primarily in the entertainment department where he did theatrical lighting for the shows and major events, such as Halloween and Christmas, performed in the Sea Lion show, and recorded a number of voice-overs for the park, rides, shows, and water park. This is his fourth year at Voss Middle School! 

Theatre Classes Breakdown: 

Theatre 1 - is focused on performance, building the foundations of acting and theatre as a whole. 
Theatre 2 - is focused on production, building the foundations of tech theatre, design, directing, and advanced performance.
Theatre 3 - is focused on students applying the principals learned in the previous courses and representing VMS in UIL and other One Act competitions.
