Mr. Michael Blackmon

This is Coach Blackmon's fifth year at Boerne ISD and is looking forward to a great 2024-2025 school year.  Coach Blackmon will be teaching 8th grade CCMR and will be coaching football, basketball and track.   Although this is his fifth year in Boerne ISD, he is entering his 18th year of teaching and coaching.  He began his teaching career at San Antonio ISD after graduating from UTSA with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and then obtaining his teaching certificate in grades 4-8.  He has spent the last fifteen years teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade Math as well as coaching junior high and high school football, basketball, baseball, soccer and track.  

Coach Blackmon is married to his wife of 18 years, Stephanie, who is also a teacher.  Together they have a 14-year-old daughter, Lauren, and a 4-year-old Maltipoo. Wrigley.  Coach Blackmon is a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan who also has a great love for baseball.  He enjoys playing golf, fishing, grilling, traveling, and visiting MLB ball parks.
