Amanda Upton, M. A.

Amanda Upton is a passionate educator from Virginia. She earned her B.A. in Communications from Old Dominion University and an M.A. Strategic Communications and Leadership from Seton Hall University. With experience teaching 8th grade ELAR and college-level public speaking, she aims to ignite curiosity, foster growth, and instill a genuine love for learning in her students. She is currently teaching Dual Credit Speech at Boerne High School.

 

Mrs. Upton strives to provide her students with not only the knowledge they need to succeed but also the practical tools to apply that knowledge, the safe space to learn from failures, and the confidence to take charge of their lives. In Mrs. Upton's classroom, you can expect a caring, genuine, and passionate teacher who dedicates herself to nurturing each student's potential and empowering them to embrace their unique strengths as they strive for success.

 

And here's a fun twist: when she's not busy guiding students’ learning, Mrs. Upton embarks on epic adventures with her husband and three kiddos. They took a family gap year and circled the globe, collecting memories, experiences, and a few passport stamps along the way!
