Mr. Chris Ocak

Mr. Ocak is delighted to start his second year at Voss Middle School! He grew up in Colorado and graduated from Chatfield Senior High School. He then obtained a degree in History from Metro State University in Denver. Mr. Ocak got married and moved to Iowa, where he received his secondary teaching license from Iowa State University. He then taught high school social studies for two years before moving to Boerne.  While in Boerne, he taught computer skills to students at Cibolo Creek Elementary, where his two daughters attended.  After gaining additional experience, an opportunity opened to work in secondary education at Voss.  He now teaches taught 6th and 7th grade social studies.  When not at school, Mr. Ocak likes to spend time with his family, especially outdoors when the weather is nice, play board games, solve puzzles, hang out with friends, travel, and enjoy sports.
