Mrs. Rust

Mrs. Rust grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated from Clark High School in 1985.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 1993.  Upon graduation, Mrs. Rust and her husband managed a garden center until they started their own in 1996.  After eight years of running a garden center and landscape consulting business, Mrs. Rust decided to change career paths and go into teaching.  In 2003, Mrs. Rust was hired as a teaching assistant and soon after moved on to an ELAR teaching position and taught 7th and 8th grade Reading. Now she currently teaches College and Career Readiness (CCR).

In her spare time, Mrs. Rust enjoys reading, gardening/landscaping, and traveling.  She and her husband have a goal of visiting all 50 states, but enjoy coming home to their cats ... Sadie and Augy.
