The mission of the Boerne ISD Counseling Team is to use a WHOLE CHILD, student-centered, solution-focused approach to counseling. We are committed to showing unconditional positive regard for every student, accepting students for who they are and always putting them first. We focus on helping to guide and equip students to find their own solutions and to develop the academic, social, and emotional skills needed to reach their post-secondary goals.

Mrs. Rachel Franco
Mrs. Franco is entering her 17th year in education and her 8th year as a school counselor. She has been a counselor in Boerne ISD for the past 6 years and is eager to begin serving the students and families of Boerne Middle School North! Originally from Fort Worth, Mrs. Franco has taught various subjects and grade levels in Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. She received her bachelor's degree from Texas Wesleyan University and her master's degree from the University of St. Thomas. She is passionate about helping students reach their full potential academically, emotionally, and socially. Mrs. Franco is married to her husband Mike of 15 years and together they have two amazing daughters, Ella and Everly. Her favorite place is the beach and she loves spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Franco is very excited to be a Greyhound!

Mrs. Kimberly Culp
Mrs. Culp is excited to begin her 23rd year of education as a counselor at Boerne Middle School North! Prior to counseling, Mrs. Culp taught at both the elementary and high school level and continues to keep in touch with many of her students. She holds a BA in interdisciplinary studies and a master’s degree in both educational administration and counseling and development. Mrs. Culp is also a registered yoga teacher and loves to encourage overall health and wellness.
Mrs. Culp has one daughter and a few spoiled furbabies. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, yoga, shopping, trying new restaurants, and almost anything outdoors. Her most recent obsession is the fitness classes on her Peloton bike!
Mrs. Culp loves Boerne and is positively thrilled to be a part of the BMSN Greyhound family!

Mrs. O'Hare

Mrs. Reagan O’Hare is thrilled to serve as the counselor at Boerne Middle School North school. Ms. O'Hare's background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master of Arts in School Counseling.
Mrs. O'Hare enters Boerne Middle School North with four years of secondary counseling experience, two years of elementary school counseling experience and 14 years of teaching experience. Before becoming a counselor, she taught Journalism, English, Broadcasting and Digital Graphics.
"Whenever I can, I love to encourage students to write and to share their ideas in creative ways. Coming in with a love for writing, I love to hear students sharing their stories, and I encourage them to celebrate their uniqueness. Every student is special.
"When I am not serving our school, I am riding horses, taking photos and spending quality time with my husband and our three busy boys: Michael, age 17, Riley, age 13 and Noah, age 15."
