Mrs. Amanda Marcell

Mrs. Marcell joined Boerne ISD in the summer of 2024, but has taught Science at Irma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School in Dallas for several years. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Marcell also sponsored many student activities, including the school newspaper and the e-sports team. Mrs. Marcell also worked for Young Women's Preparatory Network, a non-profit that supports single-gender, college-preparatory public education across the state. 

Mrs. Marcell is now teaching 7th Grade Science and Family & Consumer Sciences at North. She moved to Boerne with her husband and two sons, Henry and Anson, this summer. The Marcell Family is so happy to be in Boerne, and they've loved exploring their new home. In her free time, Mrs. Marcell likes to spend time with her family, spend time outdoors, cook, and travel.
