Mr. Evan Jose

Mr. Jose began his teaching career at BMSN in 2021. A San Antonio native, Mr. Jose attended Northwestern University, majoring in music performance and education. There, he enjoyed performing in the various ensembles, working with Mariachi Northwestern, and coaching the Cook County JTDC residents in music production. His primary instrument is percussion, but he loves playing and teaching everything! 

Outside of the band hall, you may find Mr. Jose performing at a jazz, country, or mariachi gig. He also enjoys reading at coffee shops and playing chess.
