Mrs. Elizabeth Cooley

This will be Mrs. Cooley's sixteenth year as an elementary school teacher. She has spent five years teaching in NEISD and eleven years in Boerne ISD. This will be Mrs. Cooley's fifth year teaching at Van Raub Elementary. Mrs. Cooley helped open Van Raub and is excited to start another year teaching at such a great school!    

Mrs. Cooley is originally from Houston, Texas and is the youngest of four children. Her father was an accountant and her mother is a retired Kindergarten teacher.   Mrs. Cooley comes from a long line of educators and loves being with children.  Her passion is helping children feel confident in themselves academically and socially. 

Mrs. Cooley moved to San Antonio to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio and received her Bachelors in Elementary Education. Mrs. Cooley met and married her husband, Chris Cooley, and has been happily married for 15 years. Mrs. Cooley has two very active boys, Caleb and David. Caleb is currently going into sixth grade and David is going into fourth grade. Mrs. Cooley is looking forward to a very exciting and wonderful year at Van Raub!
