Mrs. Nicole Androne

Welcome back, Roadrunners! Mrs. Androne is thrilled to be your 5th grade ELAR teacher and is dedicated to providing unwavering support on your academic journey. With five years at Van Raub and a total of nine years as an educator, she brings a wealth of experience to the classroom.

From an early age, Mrs. Androne has been passionate about the health sciences and education. She pursued her passion by earning a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University, followed by obtaining her Florida education certificate shortly after graduation. Mrs. Androne began her teaching career as a secondary science teacher in Florida, where she gained valuable experience and created lifelong memories. However, after dedicating time to raising her own children during their formative years, she felt a strong desire to make an impact on the lives of students once again. This led her to earn a Texas Educator Certificate in Core Subjects (grades 4-8) along with an ESL certificate.

Mrs. Androne considers herself fortunate to have been a part of the Van Raub faculty for the past five years. During this time, she has witnessed the growth and development of the school and has formed meaningful connections with the community. She thoroughly enjoys combining her passion for science and reading through interdisciplinary studies and collaborative efforts with her colleagues. By creating engaging learning experiences, Mrs. Androne strives to ignite a love for learning in her students.

Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Androne cherishes spending quality time with her wonderful husband and four amazing children. Her dedication to making a positive impact on the community through health education has grown stronger over the years. As a result, she has taken on the challenge of pursuing a Master of Science in Health, Community, and Policy at the University of Texas San Antonio. Her ultimate goal is to utilize her knowledge in health education to empower individuals and communities to lead healthier lives.

In her role as the 5th grade team lead, Mrs. Androne is available to guide and assist both parents and students. She encourages open communication and invites any questions or concerns you may have. Together, let's make this year a truly wonderful one filled with personal growth, meaningful learning, and exciting achievements.
