Ms. Denise Bakkar

Ms. Bakkar is a second grade teacher at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary.  This is her seventh year at FORES and her thirteenth year of teaching.  She has a love for learning and would hope that her students will also learn to love learning as much as she does.  She has been fortunate enough to teach Pre-K, ESL, 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, 5th Grade, and 2nd Grade.  She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Saint Martin's in Lacey, Washington.

She was born in Texas but raised in Florida.   She previously taught in Washington State, North Carolina, and moved back to Texas.  She is blessed to have a handsome seventeen-year-old son, Collyn, a beautiful eleven-year-old daughter, Maya, and her very spoiled dog, Charlie.

A priority for Ms.Bakkar is to make her classroom a safe, fun and disciplined place for her students, she would hope that they would enjoy coming to her classroom and learning something new every day.  Ms. Bakkar feels that all children are different and require specific attention and affection for them to flourish. She will strive to be that for each of her students; an educator who loves each child that walks in her door and gives each of them not only an education, but also a passion for learning.
