Breakfast Buddies
Breakfast Buddies
Monday-Friday 7:00-7:20 a.m. - biweekly rotation
- Open to students in 2nd grade
- Breakfast Buddies will be responsible for helping students find seats, getting utensils, helping to open packages/drinks, reminding students to throw away trash and clean up their space, and helping with special morning events.
- Breakfast Buddies will also be available to sit with students, talk about things they like, help them meet and make new friends, and just spend time with them before school starts.
Students must understand that they are to set a good example for others, including exhibiting all of the FRESH expectations at FORES. Look for a sign up coming soon.

Chess
Chess club is an after-school activity that will meet on Thursdays. It is open to grades 3-5 and is designed to give students an opportunity to learn the game of chess, improve their chess skills, and to enjoy competition against their peers. Beginners will be taught the basic rules, the value of pieces, and how to checkmate their opponents. While there will be friendly competition between members, the goal of our chess club is to build the following skills: self-esteem, critical thinking, concentration, social skills, and good sportsmanship.

Gardening
Garden Club will be offered in the Fall Semester this year to 1st-5th grade students who are garden enthusiasts or just want to learn how to take care of plants! There will be several dates throughout the semester for students to participate. Our goal: make the raised beds by the portables beautiful! Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run Club is open to girls in grades 4 and 5. We meet twice a week from September until December. We welcome girls of all running abilities. Our goal is to empower young girls to recognize their individual strengths while building a sense of connection in a team setting. At the end of the season, the girls compete in a 5K race. This is a National Organization, so there is a fee for participating. The club is also limited to 15 girls. More detailed information will be coming soon.

KMNM News Team
KMNM is a student led group of fifth grade students that inform the FORES campus of school happenings/clubs. This year we have 24 students which will be divided into two equal groups. Team blue and team white. Each group will do two weeks of announcements at a time. Morning announcements can be viewed on Mrs. Shults mustang corral on Fridays.

Read, Think, Create
Read, Think, Create Club
This is a club for Kindergarteners that will spark interest in their ability to think critically, adapt socially, and create experiences that will help build their love of reading.
The club meets once a month on Wednesdays from 3:00- 4:15. Specific dates will be communicated to parents.

Safety Patrols
5th Graders!Are you interested in helping others in our school and community? Do you want to be a leader in our school and help other students stay safe? If so, you are a perfect candidate for Safety Patrol! Safety Patrol is a group of 5th grade students who are role models that help others during arrival and dismissal. They are leaders in the school who promote traffic safety and responsibility. Before and after school duties are available. -

The FORES Student council consists of 4th and 5th grade students who are chosen to represent their campus due to their passion to serve others! This group of student leaders collaborate to positively impact the FORES school community. They gain powerful experience in leadership and citizenship.

Are you a 5th Grader that wants to be a part of creating our school’s yearbook?
Then come join Yearbook Club!
If you love to create, take pictures, and capture memories, then this is the club for you!
