Mrs. Kimberly Hernandez

Mrs. Hernandez will be teaching Inclusion/Resource this year. She has been in education for six years, and has experience in Resource, Early Childhood Special Education, and LIFE Skills. Mrs. Hernandez graduated from California State University, San Marcos with a degree in Social Sciences and from The University of Texas Permian Basin with a Master of Arts in Special Education. She is certified in general education EC-6, Special Education EC-12, English as a Second Language, and Texas Reading Academies. 

Mrs. Hernandez is passionate about special education, and was a presenter at the Region 4 Inclusive Practices Conference where she gave a presentation titled How to be Purposeful When Creating an Inclusive Environment. She enjoys collaborating with other educators to ensure that all students are successful.  

Mrs. Hernandez has been married for twelve years, and she is a mother to three children; Jayden, Alexander, and Kamila. She and her family enjoy being outdoors and trying new restaurants. 

Mrs. Hernandez is so excited to be a FORES Mustang!!
