Mrs. Annie Niedecken

Mrs. Niedecken is an art teacher at Cibolo Creek Elementary.  She graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Science, a Master's in Public Health emphasizing Social and Behavioral Health, and a Master's in Education from Schreiner University.  Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. Niedecken was a social worker for the City of Fort Worth.  She has taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to all at-risk students for the last 16 years in San Antonio, Georgetown, and Rockdale, Texas. Mrs. Niedecken acquired her Art Certification in the spring of 2019; this is her 21st year teaching.  Her goal is to combine her range of experience with the ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, loving, teacher to make a positive contribution to our school.

Mrs. Niedecken loves creating new things, including watercolor, jewelry making, and clay, and curating a loving environment to teach her students that they are all artists! 

Mrs. Niedecken has been married to John for 21 years and has two children, Ben and Sam. She also has a gorgeous rescue dog named Henry, a little pup named Olive, and a leopard gecko named Violet that her students adore.
