Mrs. Ferry has enjoyed teaching since 2009. She has experience teaching students in kindergarten through second grade and was a K-2 Literacy Interventionist/Academic Coach for three years. She is excited to be the Dyslexia Specialist at CCES. Her passion is teaching children to love reading and how to become problem solvers.
Mrs. Ferry graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2008 from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She also earned her Masters Degree in Literacy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in December of 2020. Mrs. Ferry promises to be a life-long learner and is currently working to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist.
Mrs. Ferry enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children; Leilah, Nehemiah, and Hannah. Together they ride bikes, swim, play ball and spend time gardening.
