Mrs. Karen Juarez

Mrs. Juarez has been a school counselor since 2007, counseling students from PreK through high school. Mrs. Juarez previously worked in Boerne ISD during the 2019-2020 school year. She then moved to Oregon during Covid to help her niece and nephew with their remote learning experience. She moved back to Texas in 2021 and had been working in Judson ISD until accepting the job as Counselor for CCES. She is so excited to be back in Boerne and to be a member of the Cub community!!

Mrs. Juarez earned her Bachelor's degree in English from Sonoma State University and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Chapman University in California. Mrs. Juarez has a passion for working with children and believes in the phrase, “Kindness Matters”.

Mrs. Juarez has three grown children and three amazing grandchildren. She married her husband, Jay, in 2023. They have two dogs together and spend most of their time hanging out and spoiling them!!
