Morning Safety Patrol

Dear parents of 5th grade students:

Once again, we are asking for student volunteers to serve on morning safety patrol.  Students who ride the bus may serve on our morning safety patrol as well. My expectation is that morning safety patrol will start at 7:10 am and end at 7:40.  Thank you so much for your support, and I look forward to a great year at Cibolo Creek! 

Here are guidelines that each safety patrol needs to follow:

• Report to post on time (by 7:10) and remain there until the second bell, regardless of the weather.  You are expected to dress accordingly.  
• Focus on my duties and assist other students as they arrive to school.
• Encourage safety practices of other students in a polite and positive manner.
• Obey all teachers at all times and follow all school rules.
• Report dangerous practices of students to teachers or administration.
• Remember at all times that a safety patrol is a role model and a leader.  Be helpful and have a friendly and respectful attitude.
• Maintain grades at 75 or above in all academic subjects.
• Safety Patrols should maintain satisfactory performance (S) in all indicators as noted on the report card.
