Maintenance Department

  • Welcome to the Boerne ISD Maintenance Department 

    Mission Statement: 

    We will provide quality learning environments in support of student success through pride in craftmanship and committment to customer service, while being good stewards of district resources. 

     

    Under the direction of Mr. Gilbert Salinas, the Maintenance and Grounds Department is dedicated to caring for the buildings and grounds of BISD , keeping the school facilities safe and accessible in support of student learning. 

    Our Maintenance Department maintains 1,743,408 sq. ft of buildings, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and fire alarms. 

    Our Grounds Department mow 513 acres and maintain all exterior BISD properties including but not limited to fencing, sidewalks, landscaping and pest management. 

    We deliver service using a workorder system and complete an average of 5307 workorders each year.
