Mrs. Amy Sweeney

This is Amy Sweeney's second year at FORES, and she is thrilled to be back for another great year teaching 5th grade ELAR. She has 18 years of teaching experience in public and independent schools in Houston and Austin. Amy and her family moved to Boerne in 2022 after teaching fifth grade English in Austin. She also taught students with special needs in the Houston area for many years. 

A native Texan, Mrs. Sweeney, her husband Jeff, and their two sons, Oliver and Grant, are happy to call Boerne home. She is excited to be a member of the Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary School teaching staff and looks forward to a wonderful year getting to know her students and families.
