Mrs. Candy Hankins

Candace (Candy) Hankins is a Dyslexia teacher at FORES!  She brings over 20 years of teaching experience to BISD.  She graduated from Northwestern State University in 2002 with her Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Georgia Southern in 2016 with a Master's in Reading Education.  

Candace is originally from Sealy, TX and has been married for 24 years to Roger, who recently retired from the Army after 23 years. They have two children, Brooklynn (a recent Champion HS graduate) and Jackson (a sophomore at Champion HS).  Jackson is a part of the Champion Water Polo and Swim Team!  She also has 3 crazy fur-children:  Charlie (ShihTzu), Hannah (German Shepard X) and Sadie (Golden Retriever/Collie X).

She can't wait to meet all of her amazing students at FORES!
