  • Welcome to the Public Information portal.

    We welcome information requests as they apply to the Texas Public Information Act and the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act. 

    Please be advised, roughly 95% of BISD employees have restricted the release of directory information in accordance with the law.


    Additionally, a majority of BISD students have restricted the release of directory information. Student information may be restricted by a parent, guardian, or by a student who is 18-years-old or above.

    Finally, laws do not require a governmental entity to create or compile information that does not exist. The BISD is only required to provide copies or allow inspection of existing information.
