Mrs. Estefania Salinas Gutierrez

My name is Estefania Salinas Gutierrez and I teach Dual Language Dyslexia to students in Boerne. I have 8 years experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Bilingual Education along with Special Education Certification. I worked four years as a Science and Social Studies teacher for grades 3rd-5th at Harlandale ISD, and four years as a 1st grade teacher with Northside ISD. With my expertise and training on both Reading by Design and Esperanza Dyslexia programs, I am able to provide students with targeted instruction in a small group setting to help them overcome obstacles with reading and writing. 

As an educator, I am committed to every student and their academic success. My goal as a dyslexia teacher is to build self-esteem, and empower those students who may feel otherwise due to struggles with dyslexia.
