Welcome to 3rd Grade!

My name is Michelle Hans, and I am so excited to begin a new journey here at Wilson Elementary!   I am thankful to be thriving with you in third grade in an atmosphere of encouragement, support, positivity, and FUN!  

A Little Bit About Me!

After graduating from Boerne High School, I went on to graduate from Texas A&M University. WHOOP!  This will be my 17th (I think) year of teaching - throughout those years, I have taught Kinder, 1st, 3rd, and 4th.   

I married my hometown sweetheart whom I have known since we were 15 years old!  We have been married for almost 21 years and have two boys, Jacob and Carter. Jacob is already beginning his second year in college (I miss him terribly when he is away) and Carter is a junior at Boerne High School and plays football - Go Greyhounds!  We also have two sweet pups and one tenacious kitty. When I am not teaching, I love to travel - especially to my happy place in Maine and just about anywhere that I can be by the beach.  I also like to solve crossword puzzles - especially when I'm relaxing. But, mostly, I love to have fun and make happy memories with my family and friends - either watching my Fightin Texas Aggies play, spending time outdoors by the pool or going on adventures, or just sitting around to catch up and make each other laugh. I LOVE to laugh.  😂😂🥰

A Few of My Favorite Things:

Color: all kinds of blues and Aggie maroon ;-)

Food: sandwiches, salads, Italian food, Mexican food, and Thai fried rice!

Drink: Dr. Pepper, coffee w/ cream and sugar or cappuccinos 

Sweet Tooth Cravings: donuts, brownies, Snickers, Twix

Healthier Cravings: KIND bars and cashews

Sports Teams: Aggies, Boerne Greyhounds, Spurs, Red Sox

Animals: dolphins and elephants

Hobbies: crossword puzzles, keeping up with design and decor trends, making my own floral arrangements

My Happy Places: anywhere with my family...especially at the beach, Maine, and Colorado
