Ms. Erika McCullough

Ms. McCullough is the Dyslexia Specialist at Viola Wilson Elementary. She has a passion for working with her students to set goals and achieve them. Ms. McCullough believes that it is important to help her students become kind and caring people, and learn to be positive influences on each other and in the community.

Ms. McCullough graduated from Oregon State University and has been teaching since 2011. She was a classroom teacher in 1st-5th grades before moving into her role as Dyslexia Specialist. She is excited about working with students to become more skilled, confident readers!

After living all over the country and abroad in Okinawa, Japan, Ms. McCullough's family settled in Boerne six years ago. She has two daughters in elementary school and two dogs that take up much of her time. As a family, they enjoy hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and going to concerts.

Ms. McCullough is thrilled to be part of the VWES Wolfpack, and is excited for all the learning that will happen this school year!
