Mrs. Lara Carey

Mrs. Carey is originally from Abilene, TX. This is her second year at FORES. She is excited to be back as the Challenge Lab teacher! She graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a Master of Arts degree in Communication.

Mrs. Carey loves to stretch the minds of her students through creative projects and challenging hands-on experiences. Mrs. Carey and her husband, Chris, are blessed to have three energetic boys and two dogs. She loves to spend time making memories with her family. Some of her favorite activities are traveling, hiking, kayaking, reading, and throwing baseballs. She devotes much of her after-school time and weekends to Boerne Little League Baseball, and most nights you can find her on the baseball field.
