Ms. Nareyda Norato
Nareyda Norato has been a teacher in various capacities for 18 years.
She began as a teaching assistant at a private Christian school in South Texas. She then pursued other passions and traveled for a few years. Eventually, she was drawn back to the profession as a teaching assistant for an after-school program, “21st Century,” in an Arizona school district. She taught a Kid’s Cooking Class and an Arts & Crafts Class, and during the day, she worked in the Cafeteria!
Ms. Norato has long since relocated with her family (husband, 5 kids, & one crazy little rescue dog) from the Grand Canyon to Boerne, Texas! For the first eight years, she worked at Boerne ISD as a Special Education teaching assistant, and in recent years has worked in the Dual Language program. She has twice been honored as Support Staff of the Year for Fabra Elementary and as District Support Staff of the Year once! Continually looking forward to what the future brings. In fact, Ms. Norato is pursuing further education herself due to her strong conviction of the value and importance of continuous learning! She hopes to continue to inspire and motivate the “student” in all of us and has loved her experiences at BISD!
As you can imagine, Ms. Norato loves traveling and the education it brings, to see the world as it is and as it could be. Instead of asking our kids what they want to be when they grow up? Ms. Norato strongly believes we should ask, “What problem do you want to solve in this world”? We are inspiring the next generation of innovative problem-solvers! Personally, Ms. Norato can’t wait to see what they come up with!
See you around campus!
