Judy Moldenhauer will be starting her 30th year in the education field. She has taught Pre-Kindergarten, Head Start and Kindergarten. Previously she taught in Lawton, Oklahoma and Fredericksburg, Texas. This will be her 25th year in Boerne. She was born and raised in Fredericksburg and graduated from The University of Texas San Antonio with a degree in Physical Education/Health with an Early Childhood certification. She also has her GT certification and ESL certification. She looks forward each year to meeting her new students and is excited to be a part of your child’s life during their first year of school.

She has been a member of a variety of committees in Boerne ISD. On the district level she has served on the Budget Committee and is currently the Kindergarten representative on the Science Vertical Team. On the campus level she is a member of the Science Vertical Team. She has participated in and helped to host the Science Family Night, Family Fitness Night, Literacy Night and the Fabra Fall Festival.

In the community she is a member of St. John Lutheran Church. As her children were growing she was active in the Scouting program, teaching Vacation Bible School and Sunday School. She is a direct descendant, 5th generation of a founding family of Boerne and has received  recognition from the Genealogical Society of Kendall County.

Ms. Moldenhauer has three children. Katelyn was born at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, is 33 and a graduate of Boerne High School and The University of Texas Austin. She resides in Austin with her husband, Michael Rohde. Andrew Abbott was born in Fredericksburg, is 31 and a graduate of Boerne Champion High School and Texas Tech University. He lives Lubbock. Ryan Abbott was born in Fredericksburg, is 30 and a graduate of Boerne High School and Texas State University. He lives in San Marcos. Over the years she enjoyed watching her children participate in soccer, basketball and cross-country. Ms. Moldenhauer enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, dancing, swimming, walking and listening to all types of music!
