Mrs. Dottie Polasek

Dottie Polasek has been a teacher in Boerne ISD for nine years, previously teaching kindergarten, second, and third grade. After graduating from Texas State University in 2011, she began her teaching career at Travis Elementary in San Marcos, Texas. Dottie became a teacher because of her passion for watching children learn and grow. She especially loves the Boerne community and their support for education.

A San Marcos native, Dottie graduated from San Marcos High School in 2006. She lives in Kendalia, Texas with her husband and 2 children.

For the 2023-2024 school year, Dottie will be returning to 5th grade at Fabra Elementary to teach reading, language arts, and social studies. She is looking forward to a fabulous year! Follow along with what's happening in the classroom on Twitter!
