Hello! I am so excited to be your teacher this school year. This will be my 8th year teaching and my seventh year in 1st grade. I taught 7 years in Somerset ISD before moving back out to Boerne. I look forward to an amazing year of working together, learning and having fun!
I went to college in Louisiana at Louisiana State University-Shreveport where I earned my Bachelor's in General Studies. I earned a full ride scholarship to play soccer there. After graduating, I moved back home to Texas and earned my teaching certification through the Texas Teachers Program.
My husband and I have been married for 2 years now. We met in high school here in Boerne, we lost touch when we went to college. After graduating, we reconnected and have been together ever since. We have one beautiful daughter who will turn 1 at the end of the August. We also have two fur babies, Lady and Charlie.
