Mrs. Whitney Krause

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Whitney Krause has always had a passion for teaching. Inspired by her second grade teacher, she pursued her dream of teaching by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education, EC through 4th Grade, from Texas A&M University in 2009.

Since graduating, Mrs. Krause has dedicated over ten years to teaching Kindergarten, where she honed her skills and built a strong foundation in early childhood education. This is her second year of teaching First Grade at Boerne Independent School District. Mrs. Krause finds teaching First Grade to be an incredibly rewarding experience and loves the opportunity to make a positive impact on her students' lives.

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Krause enjoys a vibrant family life with her husband and their three daughters. The Krause family shares a love for traveling, horseback riding, and all things related to animals. Their home is lively, with three horses, two donkeys, two cows, two cats, two dogs, and an adorable bunny.

Mrs. Krause is deeply committed to fostering a love for learning in her students, hoping to highlight their greatest strengths and inspire a lifelong desire to learn and contribute to others. She is equally dedicated to supporting her students' social and emotional growth, aiming to ensure that each child leaves her class with a sense of support, strong friendships, and a positive outlook on their educational journey.
