Ms. Andrea Piña

Ms. Andrea Piña was born and raised in San Antonio and is now a proud resident of Boerne. She graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor's and master's in Educational Leadership. Go Roadrunners!!! She is finishing up a master's degree in Library Science at Texas Woman's University. Ms. Piña is starting her 16th year of teaching with experience in early childhood to a special education case manager at the high school level. This is her fifth year at Cibolo Creek Elementary as a second-grade teacher, and she is looking forward to another year being a part of the cub family. Literacy and sharing a love for reading with her students is her passion. Some of her favorite children's authors include Eric Carle, David Shannon, and James Dean. 

Outside of teaching, Ms. Piña enjoys spending time with her 10-year-old daughter Lily, her fur baby Luna and her family.  During her free time, Ms. Piña enjoys running, exercising, and going for walks in the neighborhood. Other hobbies include reading, traveling, and diamond painting.
