Mrs. Candace Warder
Mrs. Warder is a graduate of Texas A&M University. She has been blessed to work at BISD for the past 7 years. Before joining Boerne, she worked for NEISD for 7 years. She has taught 2nd and 3rd grade, as well as spent many years as a special education resource and inclusion teacher. Mrs. Warder has a passion for working with all students to help them achieve their goals and work to their highest potential. It is her hope that with every success, no matter how small, students will recognize their value and realize they are important and loved. It is something she tries to instill in them every day.
Mrs. Warder was born in Boerne, but as a child moved around quite a lot, spending time in New Jersey, Missouri, Dallas (3 times), England, and Belgium before finally moving back her senior year of high school to graduate as a Boerne Greyhound. She currently lives in River Mountain Ranch with her husband, Trey, and their 2 boys. Finley turned 15 in May, and will be starting his sophomore year at Boerne High School, while Rhys, who just turned 12, will be attending BMSN as an incoming 7th grader. In her spare time, Mrs. Warder and her family enjoy traveling, gardening, biking, skiing, and spending summer afternoons at the river with their three dogs.
