The Herff Library is a center of learning for students to explore their interests and discover new and interesting things. Students have access to a variety of materials including books, e-books, and digital resources. The library is also a great place to curl up and read a great book!
Library Procedures
All students come to the library each week for a lesson and to check out books.
How many books can I check out? Kindergarten students check out one book at a time. 1st through 5th graders check out two books at a time.
How long can I keep my books for?The loan period bor books is two weeks. After two weeks books must be returned or renewed.
Do I need to pay for my books? We do not charge overdue fines, however, we do charge for lost and damaged books.
**Water bottles often leak and should not be placed inside the backpack next to library books.**
Our books are new! Please help your child read with clean hands, keep books away from food, drinks, small children, and pets. Also, students should be encouraged to use a bookmark to hold their place in a book.
